The Growing Strong Colorado Families Work Team is based on the following philosophy:

Parents are the child's first teacher and the primary source of socialization. Family development and school family partnerships grow out of positive parent attitudes, knowledge, skills and behavior. The goal of GSCF is strengthening and educating Colorado parents, caregivers, and early childhood and school age professionals to facilitate the development of caring, competent, connected, confident and healthy children.
