Educational programming for Colorado State University Cooperative Extension is planned, coordinated and delivered through Work Teams. Cooperative Extension's experience in community and family-based education, access to research-based knowledge, and the statewide delivery network of specialist and field faculty are strengths which the GSCF Work Team capitalizes on.
The Work Team strategy allows for a common set of approaches and provides a menu for local programming, collaboration and selection of existing curricula such as Partners in Parenting, Second Time Around, RETHINK, Strengthening Families 6-10, Strengthening Families 10-14, Make Parenting a Pleasure, Caring For School Age Children, Empowerment Skills for Frontline Workers, and Effective Training: Principles & Strategies to Increase Learning Transfer.
The educational delivery model involves technical assistance, training and mentor/coaching and is achieved through a collaboration with the Colorado Family Education Resource and Training (CFERT) Project.
