The Colorado Family Education, Resources and Training Project is an ADAD grant sponsored project with considerable expertise in program development and implementation. CFERT has a coordinated and cost effective approach to the delivery of Parenting Education Prevention Services to meet our goal of assisting agencies/communities in providing researched/evidenced based parent education programs.
This project is focused on the healthy development of young children, the strengthening of the family, building capacity and the mobilization of communities for the purpose of reducing risk factors and increasing protective factors - ensuring that "every child deserves a childhood and every parent deserves the resources to make it happen".
The project is a part of the GSCF Work Team providing training, technical assistance, support and resources. CFERT staff are members of the GSCF Work Team.
